Are you an authorized Valtir TMA installer?

Yes. Scissortail is an authorized Valtir partner. We install Valtir SS180 and GUARD EN cartridges on new and existing chassis, handle MASH recertification, hit-and-repair, and warranty claims.

My fleet already has Ver-Mac boards. Can you service them?

Yes. As an authorized partner we service Ver-Mac arrow boards and PCMS units already in your fleet — solar / battery, controls and telematics, firmware, and warranty claim handling.

Do every Scissortail truck come with this equipment installed?

Trucks Scissortail Traffic Systems sells can ship factory-upfitted with the partner equipment you specify — Valtir TMA, Ver-Mac or Solar Technology boards, Feniex or Speedtech lighting — installed, wired, and commissioned before delivery.

Who handles the warranty if equipment fails?

Scissortail Fleet Services handles warranty diagnosis, claim submission, and repair under each OEM's program. You work with one shop instead of contacting eight manufacturers.

Can you retrofit Feniex or Speedtech lighting on my existing truck?

Yes. We retrofit emergency lighting, sirens, and controllers on existing chassis — proper harness routing, vehicle integration, and switch panel layout. Bring the truck to our shop or schedule on-site mobile service.

What service area do you cover for partner equipment work?

Mobile install, service, and warranty work is dispatched across Wise County, Decatur, Fort Worth, Denton, Argyle, Keller, Haslet, and the wider Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Trucks ship nationwide pre-upfitted.
